FTA Seminars: Maximizing Trade with the U.S.

Past Seminars

Through the support of the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), IESC held four Trade Promotion Seminars on the following dates and locations:

May 6-7, Manama, Bahrain
May 11-12, Muscat, Oman
June 1-2, Amman, Jordan
June 9-10, Casablanca, Morocco

At the trade seminars, business sector specialists and United States government subject matter experts shared their insights on how to take advantage of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States. Topics included how to understand FTA requirements in specific areas, best practices, and “lessons learned” in an effort to expand trade and investment between the United States and the host country.
